 Working to change US foreign policy March 16, 2007 12:13 PM

Great group ... I'm honored to have found it.  Only we can turn our leaders from the path of empire.

Along those line, I thought some might be interested in a new group on Care2Connect dedicated to reforming U.S. relations with other countries from the grassroots. Our nonprofit organization was started last year by folks including Julian Bond of the NAACP, former Congressman Tom Andrews of Win Without War, and Robert Borosage of the Campaign for America's Future. Our mission is a foreign policy based on law, cooperation, and diplomacy (not based on reckless invasion and occupation, for example).

Our group will feature regular actions to influence our foreign policy for the better.  We look forward to seeing your ideas on how we might get from here to there. (You can see our website for examples of the kinds of actions we have invited people to take in the past.)
