This group is getting freaky by the moment. June 21, 2006 7:07 AM
Too bad those in membership don't appear to be freaks. 'Cause then it might really be a fun, rather than what looks to become another sordid Care2 frenzy.
Bikers are creepy. For some reason they really get a kick out of trying to scare the crap out of everyone around here, and hit on young girls and pick fights at the bars -_- I hope they're different in other places.
A lot of the time, respect comes from fear and vice versa. Personally, I fear no bikers. They are more trustworthy than most people give them credit for. Get to know a few and you'll know what I mean.

I know that in the late 70's alot of football players wore pantyhose to stay warm during games in the snow. It could be possible that he's wearing them to stay warm.

I can see why you might think that... As odd as it sounds ~ alot of construction worker's / deer hunter's, etc. in this area wear panty hose under their jeans...They say it keeps them insulated and very warm. But that was 'back in the day' when I was younger, so I can't honestly say if it's still on-going.

Well Pamela...I disagree with snow. America is NOT cold barely anywhere...I really doubt your friend would wear pantyhose to keep warm...and even if that was the case why wouldn't he wear long Johns or something instead??? I mean...I unno. I think it's wierd. but I could be mistaken.

I didnt know workers wore them..........i suppose he could be gay AND cold this just occured to me.......... lol
LOL! Oh, I forgot about the football team! Yeah, ours wore them too!
Yeah, the worker's did too...ha! As a matter of fact ~ one of my ex-husband's did when he hunted, I had forgotten about that; and he was anything but gay.
Cindy, maybe you just have some unusual friends. That's an awful lot of guys wearing pantyhose. I've never known anybody who did it.

LOL! I suppose I do have alot of 'unusual friends'...But, I love 'em all! It's probably just a 'southern thing' down here. Ha! But, this was years ago, I doubt they still do??? But then again ~

What do you mean America is not cold barely anywhere. I realize you`re in Siberia but that doesn`t mean it doesn`t get cold in the USA.

VERY common to wear nylons under jeans when riding. They are much thinner than long johns. I live in Chicago . . even on beautiful 70 degree nights . . it's c-c-c-c-c-COLD on a bike!
Have to disagree . . most bike riders (notice, I didn't say "bikers" as this draws negative images from those who do not ride!) are very friendly, helpful people . . they tend to do a lot for their communities and are generally, good hearted people.
scaring the crap out of everyone? hitting on young girls? picking fights at bars? Jeffrey, how can you afford this extravagant lifestyle when it is reputed that you are insolvent? but, I think as you at times: joke'm if they can't take a fook. btw: pantyhose for years till I could afford silks. and, lest I forget, thank you for your thoughtful gesture via invitation.

What do you mean America is not cold barely anywhere. I realize you`re in Siberia but that doesn`t mean it doesn`t get cold in the USA.
You do not know what cold is until you've lived north of America... I didn't say it doesn't get cold AT ALL; but there are few and far between places in America that actually do get severe coldness. -_-
You shouldn`t stereotype all bikers by the ones you have seen in your area. You wouldn`t say all Americans were bad would you just because some are like Bush? Some Americans dont like him at all in fact they cant stand him.
First the pantyhose thing - it is true that pantyhose DO keep you legs warm. Many hunters I know wear them during hunting season when it is cold. It DOES work.
Second - there is a HUGE difference between bikers in teh USA and biker in Europe, especially Russia. I have heard and read about many bad stories from over there. I have many many biker friends here. They are firemen, lawyers, doctors, blue collar workers, white collar workers, yankies, red-necks, basically all different types from different backgrounds. Every weekend, weather permitting, they have road trips stopping at different locations to enjoy the food and drinks. NONE of them has ever caused any type of trouble. As a matter of fact, when one fo them even looks like he/she is going to have a problem it is stopped immediately by other riders.
I wear pantyhose - we call them tights whilst shooting, they are stretchy enough as to not inhibit movement as longjohns would but do add a layer of warmth
