IMPORTANT: THREAD ISSUES. Please read. August 08, 2006 1:03 PM

Dear Members,

Due to recent unfourtunate occurences, I would like to stress that if anything of the same is to occur again in ANY of these group threads...THEN I WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO CLOSE THAT THREAD DOWN PERMANENTLY!

WE ARE HERE FOR A PURPOSE. WE ARE HERE FOR THE ANIMALS.NOT FOR OURSELVES.PLEASE FOCUS ALL YOUR ENERGIES ON ANIMAL WELFARE ETC.

ANYONE wishing to spoil this great opportunity to make a difference will be banned and blocked with immediate effect.

One more thing...if and when I choose to act...I might very well CLOSE this entire group down!.Please..please..dont make me want to do that.It will mean that I will also loose interest to participate in care any longer.I have better things out there in my career to do other than trying to solve peoples' problems.ie; I will join another site where my efforts will be not in vain.

As you can see..I am already getting at the end of my tether with problems in this group.I hope you all will assist me in maintaining this group in the proper fashion.

Thank You!

Thank you Ross for your efforts and though I can't and would not presume to speak for other members, I know that they must feel as we all do that there are important things to do here and we can accomplish them as a unified front. You are a great host and you certainly have my respect and support.

Gayle

Want me to publish the banned members here?? August 09, 2006 11:04 AM

Dear Members,

Its still on my mind and when one certain person here whos name starts with " "...wishes to follow the other troublemaker who caused so much pain and distress here recently...then do you think I should as the main group host post all their names and care details here??.This would provide us all with the important info on "them" so that we all will remain vigilant and cautious for our own sakes and for this groups sake.I need your feedback please.

Thanks.

Ross, love, please don't lose faith. You're doing such good work. Not many within your part of the world are willing to stand up for animals the way that you and Nick are so diligently striving to do. Yes, there are, unfortunately, people out there who use the Internet solely as a means to create controversy, grandstand and harass. Still, there are many others who use it much more constructively , in this case to at least try to make a difference for the better. Focus on this . Stay true to yourself, what you believe in , and leave others to their own pursuits, however petty or pointless.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]

Take it easy Ross... As long as humans are involved, you'll get these wherever you go. So, just relax a little and calm down, ok? Just keep focusing on the end results and forget about the rest... I know it's easier said than done, but trust me, in time, you'll get used to it.

Posting peoples name can be done only in closed groups, Ross. You can't do that in open groups as it could violate Care2 rules, terms & conditions.

Please don't loose heart because of some individuals caused you to have a bad day. And trust me, there will be always such individuals like that coming and going. It's all part of hosting a group. We just have to manage it and move on. There's no need to live in it forever. So again, take it easy, okay Ross?

We're all here to help you if need be.

Disturbances August 13, 2006 3:22 AM

Dear Ross

As this is your group you're allowed to ban people that don't live up to your rules.

Don't allow them to bug you, just click the click and just root out the weeds in your beautifull garden.

If it pleases you ,you can give em a warning but you don't have to.Some people are venomous and just spread poison.

I don't know the group tools in Care2 but there should be several at your disposal, in my yahoo group i'm able to half block a group member allowing them to read but not allowing them to post and other fun toys.

I'm sure you know growing a healthy tree with lots of fruit requires the knowledge of trimming, and removing weeds by the root to give the tree room to grow.

Hi all I have just joined so I don't know what happened but I would like to say that I am sure most people in this group are here because they care. So if someone is here just to cause upset ignore them otherwise it can get nasty when people start jumping on the band wagon so to speak yes we are all intitled to our views and just because it might be differnt then  you'rs or mine  it dosn't always mean they are wrong sometimes people don't fully understand or they read something without taking in all the info which then it is only a matter of explaining to them in a polite manner why you disagree .Friendly debate is good once it dosn't become pesonal .. I'm here to help in any way I can xoxoxoxox ,.........Ps this group can never be closed Care 2 won't allow it ! To me  it would not be fair on those who care & put so much time & effort into making this a good group xoxox      [ send green star]  [ accepted]

I also have no idea what is going on.  I think it better to just leave it that way.  Ross, breathe, don't let people get to you so much.  Just do what you need to do and ignore the ignorant.  [ send green star]  [ accepted]
