Hi Joann

It's been so long since I've posted on here, you've probably forgotten who I am.  That is down partly to Linda's passing and the problems her son is having with his appeal I've been so down this year I just couldn't face coming on here at all.

I was great friends with Linda, who I met through her son who I've been penpals with for nearly 5 years now, she used to call herself my American mum and she really was.

I miss her so much, it was such a shock to hear that she had passed.  I found out just a couple of days before I was due to fly to Florida to see her son in April.

I just thank the Gods that she was able to visit with her son one time and that was down so much to you Joann.  She was so very happy to be able to spend the weekend with him.

Linda, I love you as always, my American mum, my best friend.  I miss you so much, you were a pillar of support to me when I was at my lowest point, you were always there for me.

Sleep with the angels my dear friend, they have softer pillows!
