There are a few options. You can:
- post a link
- copy and paste
- upload the images onto your care2 album and post from there
The third option is preferred for a few reasons. It avoids bandwith theft and red x's (so long as you don't later delete the images from your album). Please include a link to the original site when you do this. If the link and images are likely to be static (ie the host site isn't going to remove them - usually not the case for news) then a link is probably the most ethical option.
For the third option, right click on the image and choose save as and save it to your hard drive. Then open a care2 photo album and upload the images from your hard drive. Then right click on the image in your album and choose copy. Then right click on the post editor and choose paste (alternatively use ctrl-c and ctrl-v, or the toolbox). Don't forget to include a link to the source. Also, a brief description if possible (time, date, location, names etc). It is best to have a few windows open when doing this so you can copy and paste between your albums and the post.
This is for a windows system. I'm not sure what options there are for non-windows users.
Post the direct link to the photo by using
RIGHT CLICK , PROPERTIES then Copy and paste
