And my opinion is that there are more homeless than there ever have been; in the United States and elsewhere, for many, many reasons. I wanted a group to educate people, help them to understand and want to help the homeless. I also wanted workers to come on and help to educate, and I wanted a Christian perspective. I wanted a group where people would feel at ease talking about Jesus, and praying and share solutions and where the homeless could feel welcome also. Thus 'Jesus for the homeless.'
