Blog: THE DAY OF PENTECOSTS!
ACTS 2:1-4
1.] When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2.] Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3.] They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4.] All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
Acts 2:5-13
5.] Now there were staying in Jerusalem, God fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6.] When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in their own language. 7.] Utterly amazed, they asked: "Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans? 8.] Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language? 9.] Parthians, Medes, Elamites, residents of Mesopotamia, Judea, and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10.] Phrygia, and Phamphilia, Egypt, and the parts of Libya, near Cyrene; visitors from Rome, 11.] (both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs---we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues! "
12.] Amazed and perplexed they asked one another, "What does this mean?"
13.] Some, however, made fun of them and said, "They have had too much wine."

Blog: PETER ADDRESSES THE CROWD!
PETER ADDRESSES THE CROWD!
ACTS 2:14-21
14.] Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, raised his voice and addressed the crowd: "Fellow Jews and all of you who are in Jerusalem; let me explain this to you; listen carefully to what I say. 15.] These men are not drunk as you suppose. It's only nine in the morning! 16.] No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17.] 'In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all
people.
your sons and daughter will
prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams,
18.] Even on my servants, both men
and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those
days,
and they will prophesy.
19.] I will show wonders in the
heaven above,
and signs on the earth below,
blood and fire and billows of
smoke.
20.] The sun will be turned to
darkness,
and the moon to blood
before the coming of the great
and glorious day of the Lord.
21.] And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be
saved.'

Blog: SALVATION! HOW CAN I BE SAVED?
ROMANS 5: 12-20
12.) Adam sinned, and that sin brought death unto the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die. 13.) Sin was in the world before the law came. But no record of sin was kept, because there was no law. 14.) Yet death still had power over all who lived from the time of Adam to the time of Moses. This happened although not everyone disobeyed a direct command of God, the way Adam did.
In some ways Adam is like Christ who came later. 15.) But the gift that God was kind enough to give was very different from Adam's sin. That one sin gave death to many others. Yet in an even greater way, Jesus Christ alone brought God's gift of kindness to many other people.
16.) There is a big difference between Adam's sin and God's gift. That one sin led to punishment. But God's gift made it possible for us to be acceptable to him, even though we have sinned many times. 17.) Death ruled like a King because Adam sinned. But that can not compare to what Jesus Christ had done. God has been kind to us, and he has accepted us because of Jesus. And so we will live and rule like Kings.
18.) Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life. 19.) Adam disobeyed God, and caused many others to be sinners., But Jesus obeyed him and will make many people acceptable to God.
20.) The law came, so that the full power of sin could be seen. Yet where sin was powerful, God's kindness was even more powerful. 21.) Sin ruled by means of death. But God's kindness now rules, and God has accepted us because of Jesus Christ our Lord. This means that we will have eternal life

WHO CAN BE A SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTIAN!
ANYONE WHO WANTS TO TURN THEIR LIFE OVER TO JESUS AND ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO FILL THEM AND BAPTIZE THEM!
1.] People who call themselves Pentecostal are Spirit Filled.
2.] People who call themselves Independent can call themselves Spirit Filled.
3.] People who call themselves non-denominational can call themselves Spirit Filled.
4.] There are many other churches whose members believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and being filled with the Holy Spirit!
5.] Spirit Filled believers are now showing up in the traditional churches that before have never believed in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Even whole churches are springing up in the traditional non-Spirit Filled churches, which now embrace the baptism and filling of the Holy
Spirit. such as,

Blog: What is a Spirit Filled Christian?
WHAT IS A SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTIAN?
A Spirit filled Christian is a person who has taken these steps.
1
.] They know that they are sinners, everyone has sinned, no one is perfect like God.
2.] They acknowledge and believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
3.] They ask Jesus to forgive them for their sins.
4.] They ask Jesus to come into their lives and hearts, and to wash them clean.
5.] They decide to follow Jesus and turn their lives completely over to Jesus.
The final step is that they ask the Holy Spirit to enter into their lives and ask that they be baptized by the Holy Spirit.

Blog: The Tale of The Campaign Trail
The Tale of The Campaign Trail
While walking down the street one day, a US senator is tragically hit by a truck and dies.
His soul arrives in heaven, and is met by St. Peter, at the entrance.
"Welcome to heaven," says St. Peter. "Before you settle in, it seems, there is a problem.
We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we're not sure, what to do with you."
"No problem, just let me in," says the man.
"Well, I'd like to,
but, I have orders, from higher up.
What we'll do, is have you spend one day in hell, and one in heaven. Then you can choose, where to spend eternity."
"Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven," says the senator.
"I'm sorry, but we have our rules."
And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator,
and he goes down,
down,
down to hell.
The doors open, and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse, and standing in front of it, are all his friends, and other politicians who, had worked with him.
Everyone is very happy, and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce, about the good times they had, while getting rich, at the expense of the people.
They play a friendly game of golf, and then dine on lobster, caviar, and champagne.
Also, present is the devil,
who, really is, a very friendly guy, who has a good time, dancing, and telling jokes. They are having such a good time, that, before he realizes it, it is time to go.
Everyone gives him a hearty farewell,
and waves,
while, the elevator rises...
The elevator goes up, up, up, and the door reopens on heaven, where,
St. Peter is waiting for him.
"Now it's time to visit heaven."
So, 24 hours pass;
With the senator, joining a group of contented souls, moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time, and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by,
and, St. Peter returns.
"Well, then, you've spent a day in hell, and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity."
The senator reflects for a minute,
then,
he answers: "Well, I would never have said it before; I mean heaven has been delightful, but, I think, I would be better off in hell."
So, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator,
and he goes down,
down, down to hell.
Now, the doors of the elevator open, and, he's in the middle of a barren land, covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash, and putting it in black bags, as more trash falls from above.
The devil comes over to him, and puts his arm around his shoulder.
"I don't understand," stammers the senator. "Yesterday I was here, and there was a golf course, and clubhouse, and we ate lobster, and caviar, drank champagne, and danced, and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland, full of garbage, and my friends look miserable. What happened ! ? "
The devil looks at him,
and smiles,
and says,
"Yesterday,
we were campaigning.....
Today....,
You, Voted.
