Select the share type or view all: All Blog Alert Top 10 List Poll Recipe Photo Tribute 7       Message: Travelling to Guatemala   Hello all Care2 members, I am trying to generate ideas for a possible trip to Guatemala next spring, March-Mayish.  It would be about 2-3 weeks long, and I am open to any possibilities as to things to do/places to go/etc.  The Mayan ruins are the only must-see on the itinerary, but other than that I'm flexible. From Guatemala City you can take the Hedman Alas first class buses to Honduras via the Copán Ruinas (Maya), several hours http://www.hedmanalas.com/. Bus trips in South America can be as long as 50-60 hours, so plan your schedule accordingly.
