If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Reward people (give people tax breaks, incentives, and the like) for having LESS children and consuming LESS, for taking care of the environment, for cooperating instead of competing, and so on. I would institute a steady state economic system and reward a lower standard of living. I would allow no great wealth or extreme poverty.
What/who changed my life and why Al Gore. I read Earth in the Balance and realized that our whole society can be geared in one direction, all the institutions working together, and it COULD be geared in a good direction instead of a bad one like now and during the cold war.
