About Me	First of all, my difficulties with the choices for those categories above says a lot about me. Why isn't "gray" one of the category choices for hair color?! Right now my hair is close to my original chestnut brown because I recently cut my butt-length, silver-streaked tresses & dyed them. (I'm job hunting and gave in to the pressure!!) I've been terribly bummed about it ever since, but I've finally found a way to live with it. I figured my ancestors would have cut their hair in mourning and, since I did it 2 days after the elections, at least it makes sense to me. ;-) See, I ABHOR living in a society that honors youth over age and experience. I like being the age I am and I really don't want to try to pass for 10 years younger. What I may have given up to gravity and time, I've earned many times over in understanding, acceptance, and wisdom. I have a lot more to offer now than I ever did. The view from the "West" is wonderful and I'd love someone to share it with. (BTW, I'm also bummed about the selections for "religion". "Earth Religions" is the nearest I could come, but it sounds way too "new-agey" for me. I walk the Red Road. Spirituality is about my personal connection with my Creator, and it's one I try to be aware of every day.
