What Gives Me Hope My friends in the Liberal Democrats! They care about change, and they can make it happen!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Completely sever all ties between church and state. No prayer in schools, no Sunday specific laws, no anti-blasphemy laws. Nothing remotely religious in anyone's lives unless they want it.
What/who changed my life and why Books: Catcher in the Rye made me want to stop living like Holden Caulfield, and Down and Out in Paris and London made me want to change the world, and made me even prouder to be working class.

Movie: Downfall. Makes you realise Hitler wasn't just a monster, he was a vegetarian with a girlfriend and a dog, just like millions of other people. That's what's truly scary about him.

Person: My dad. Cliche, but he's why I'm politically active, interested in history, and an atheist.
