aloha from maui!!
I am here to support our environmental causes ..my philosophy is if our planet's environment is unhealthy we have nothing just as if we as an individual have all the fame and fortune in the world but poor health physically, mentally and spiritually then we are really bankrupt .. My greatest passions in life are art ,music and the beauty of nature which is why I have chosen to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth ..the Hawaiian Islands.... I feel truly blessed that I am able to live in what I consider to be the heart space of the world ..I work in retail here and enjoy painting ,sketching and writing poetry ..I swim often and snorkle with my buddies the sea turtles and always look forward to whale season when the humpbacks come down from alaska to have babies and bask in the warm waters here ..I see so much disrespect for the aina (land) here and do my small part in cleaning the beach whenever I go there (picking up others trash and cigarette butts)..

I talk to the visitors and try to make them aware of how precious our reefs and wildlife are here ..My adage is dont leave litter, dont feed the fish ,dont stand on the reef or touch it and above all dont touch the turtles !!...People are so unaware of so much ..it never ceases to amaze me ! I think its up to every one of us to be responsible stewards of this planet ..this place we call the earth is sacred and should be nurtured not descecrated...

What/who changed my life and why	Kundun by Scorceese is the movie that led me to the campaign for Tibet . The works of Hermann hesse and ee cummings inspired me to write . Matisse and chagall inspired me to paint. The care of my father during his last days taught me that love is all that matters . My husband Jack taught me I could live my dreams . Music is my inspiration to live with passion and strenght.The beauty of nature has shown me the face of God
