There are days when you know exactly who you are and others when you just draw a blank. Today is one of those blank days for me but, frankly, I'm tired of seeing the default message here.
How can you encapsulate who you are and what you believe in an editor? Where are you supposed to find those words when often its just a feeling. I am me, plain and simple. I could stereotype myself until it was just painful, which is what I find most people do. Or I could offer up the opportunity for any curious people to find out for themselves. I'm not scary, really.
I'm actually pretty laid back and my hobbies/philosophies accentuate that. I'm a geeky-gamer-writer person with a penchant for the darker things in life. Clarification: I don't write games, I play them. I write poetry and (attempt) fiction. (Oh look! There I go with the stereotypes. Sooo unavoidable :-( ) I ultimately believe we are endowed with free will (for one reason or another) and that gives us the right to believe as we wish and the responsibility to maintain safety for ourselves and others at all times. Free will is a innate privilege that gives us a right, not a right unto itself.
I see respsect in much the same way. You are privilege with a level of my respect until you prove that you do not deserve it and then I will take it away. Unless you continually make a complete ass out yourself towards me I will treat you in a civilized manner. After that, no matter what my disposition, the gloves come off. I'm not really very scary when I'm angry but I am damned relentless.
Describe myself? Female college student with unnecessary holes in her body, and a fondness for bright colored hair and dark makeup. A writer, no! an old soul, wait even better! an unrecognized noncatholic saint (you can't even imagine how hard that was to pull off.) Substitute healthy interpersonal relationships with an unnatural affection for her cat and you've got me in a nutshell.
