Get your tickets now – tomorrow may be too late! Here are my winning hints & tips: 1. Disband all armed forces, destroy all arms & stop arms production & trade. Until we train & arm soldiers (incl. armies, fighters, militias, guerrillas, etc.) our world shall never enjoy peace & prosperity. Armies & weapons don't solve problems – they only create terror, war, violence, death, destruction & misery for all of us! 2. Disband all intelligence, espionage, secret & other similar services/agencies. Trust & diplomacy shall be the only means of settling our differences, however big they are. 3. Our world is already overpopulated. We have to adopt & enforce urgent measures to stop the population growth now, before we completely destroy our environment & ultimately – ourselves! 4. Elect a World government – UN must be transformed into efficient governing body where every nation is represented fairly & nobody can veto or overrule the will of the majority. It shall respect all political systems & guarantee human rights, political freedom & fair elections. 5. Efficient, responsible & transparent national governments can drastically reduce bureaucracy & expenditure by: Creating a single house parliaments; Abolition of the states/territories/provinces; Unlimited public access to every meeting, document, branch or office (no more state secrets); Extending terms of government up to 5 years; Electoral reform & End of compulsory voting. 6. Improve social justice & security by means of: Legal reform – creating clear & unambiguous laws that everyone can follow & understand, published in a single, concise & free yearly law handbook available in every home, office & on line; Provision of unconditional social security; Government-guaranteed work for everyone; Unisex retirement at 60; Family protection - equal treatment/payments/choices for singles & couples. 7. Environmental protection is already well beyond the means of single governments & national institutions. However limited our understanding & technology may be today we have to drastically reduce pollution, slow-down & adapt to climate change, & protect other living creatures. These immense & urgent tasks can only be coordinated on global/UN level. 8. Create potent Emergency services able to cope with all sorts of natural or man made disasters (e.g. hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes, disease, epidemics, bush fires, floods, industrial & shipping accidents, asteroids, etc.) 9. Free Health care – Every government shall provide real & comprehensive health cover from birth control & fertility through to ambulance services, dental care & euthanasia. 10. Free education (from kinder to uni) shall empower our children to turn their dreams in reality. National curriculum shall focus on science instead of obsolete dogma & superstition. Every student shall receive equal funds, free text books, free meals, free public transport (to & from school), free pre- & after-school care. 11. Adopting artificial Universal language (Esperanto) shall enable everyone to freely and equally communicate with each other across the globe. All cultures shall flourish free from assimilation & no race or nation shall ever try to dominate the world. 12. Free trade & enterprise shall improve our material wellbeing & be boosted by: worldwide abolition of tariffs, adopting single (global) currency, socially responsible taxation (correlating the level of taxation to the social benefits or problems created by a particular industry), abolition of official weekends & holidays (i.e. working 7 days a week/ 365 day per year & having days off & holidays when required), introduction of 7 working days per fortnight. It may be a bit naive to hope that my innocent “lottery” game alone would solve the problem that crippled our civilization from the very beginning of history. To save ourselves from looming self-destruction we need to urgently remove 2 deadly tumors called Greed & Violence (politicians, generals & propaganda often use more glamorous terms). To get rid of them we need neither blood nor billions of $$, but just a bit of alternative thinking! Not about what we are going to wear or eat tonight, or which team is going to win tomorrow, but how to share & understand others. How we can be partners, not leaders! How to solve problems with intelligence rather than exacerbating them by use of military force! How to create a prosperous society that enjoys peace rather than digging our grave by building more deadly weapons & armies!
