My Philosophy	All lives are of equal worth, and all people are connected. An Iraqi life isn't worth any less than mine, so why does my government say they're expendable? Why do they care so little about the civilian casulties of the war in Iraq that they refuse to even count the dead? I'm very disturbed by the attitude of western governments toward the arab world generally - they seem to view the whole Middle East as a giant chess board, ripe for play. We need to fight for socially responsible foreign policy and trade. Every life matters.
What Gives Me Hope	People can be kind and loving even when they don't gain from it.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	Mayor?? I've got bigger ambitions than that, lol! if I ruled the world I'd wipe out military budgets and the arms trade and reassign the money to things that aren't about death, destruction and profit for the privileged few. No one should ever profit from the misery of a fellow human being.
What/who changed my life and why	the sixth day by primo levi. He survived auschwitz and emerged still believing that the world is beautiful and that rationality can save us all.
