    BLM is requesting public comments on the proposed "Red Desert Complex Wild Horse Gather" in Wyoming. Although portrayed as a Catch, Treat and Release (CTR) operation in which mares will be inoculated with a fertility control vaccine and horses will be released, the proposed action will actually remove 500-650 horses living within and outside this complex in Wyoming's pristine Red Desert region -- including young foals. Please get your comments in today to urge BLM to incorporate alternatives for leaving all horses on the range into its final plan for the capture operation.
