About Me	I am blessed! I am a born-again believer in Christ, and my life's focus is one in which I seek to know my Savior, my God, better each day and seek the Holy Spirit in all things. I am committed to the renewal of my mind so that I may live from a pure heart. Some people say I'm "soulful." (synonym): emotional, deep, deeply felt, profound, fervent, heartfelt, sincere, passionate, meaningful, significant, eloquent, expressive, moving, inspiring, stirring, uplifting, sad, mournful, doleful. I'm also nostalgic and romantic. I like fresh flowers, pretty china, stylish clothes, and a clean and fragrant car and home. I have a beloved pet cat, Starlight. I enjoy conversations with intelligent, educated, and conscious people. I moved from southern California (Pasadena) in July of 2006 to a little rural town in east Texas, called Crockett. And, of course, it is named for Davy Crockett. There are approximately 5,700 people in that town, and I frequently saw the same folks day after day. I think it is similar to being in a large family. I have lived in big cities, e.g., Philadelphia; Houston; Miami; Austin; Sydney, Australia; and Pasadena, California. I was born in Houston, raised in Philadelphia, returned to Houston when I was 16. On my journey in life, I set off for Sydney, Australia and was mentored in the field of corporate public relations for a car manufacturing company--an opportunity to learn a great deal about publicity. When I returned to the states after 3 years in Sydney, I worked in non-profit, community-service, political advertising. I was heavily into politics for a few years and was a legislative aide for the Texas House of Representatives. For many years, I have greatly enjoyed community service. I had been a police volunteer for 13 years in Pasadena, California. I now reside in Grapeland, TX, a town of 1400. I love rural life. The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don't know what you are doing, someone else does. I am seeking good company . . . the fellowship of a clever, educated, attractive, well-informed man who has a great deal of conversation and a liberality of ideas. A man who is patient and who is able and willing to express himself, his feelings, thoughts, ambitions, dreams, and spiritual path. A friend who has a good sense of humor and is not inundated in his life, but who has some time and energy for friendship. A friend who has some interests in common with mine and follows the tenets of the Word of God. Simply looking to date fun, attractive men and hope dating grows into a permanent one-on-one relationship with the special man who thinks I'm fabulous. Every day is a pure, wonderful gift.
