About Me Hi :) My name is Karlee, but everyone calls me princess. A lot of people have asked why this is, but I honestly can't remember - one of my friends came up with it a long time ago and I guess it just stuck. I LOVE pink and shopping. I live on 3000 acres in the middle of nowhere (yes, I miss the city!) and my favourite pets on the farm are the alpacas and of course the horses :). Ummmmm... me? Apparently I have numerous blonde moments (unintentional ones). I'm kind of shy around people who I don't really know, but when I feel comfortable around someone, I talk too much. I'm one of those people who needs to talk their problems out with someone, so some of you have probably been required to advise me about a drama in my life at some point :P. There is one year of school left for me, I know I will miss it heaps :(, I go to a private school and I'm a "model, high-achieving student" (ha! don't know about that...). What Gives Me Hope That there are people in the world who are prepared to stand up for what they believe in.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by I would try to educate the people about the state of the world, particularly the "developing" countries. I would also try to increase environmental awareness. People wouldn't do so much harm, I think, if they knew exactly what they were doing and how they could improve. I would also be the first female Australian Prime Minister ^_^
What/who changed my life and why The people in my life who I think have had the greatest effect so far, are those who taught me not to take freedom for granted. I know several people who believe they are in the best position to decide what happens to me, and that my opinion does not matter. My parents always gave me a lot of freedom, and other people who weren't so generous made me appreciate it. I will always remember now, that I am my own person, and that everyone is capable of thinking for themselves. Others can help along the way, but ultimately, you should be the one who makes the important decisions in your life, because they are about you :).
