I'm a local celebrity in the Washington DC area, having been chosen over 1,258 competitors as the "Voice of Metro," heard by over 800,000 people every day on the subway system. Since winning that honor last February, I have used my voice for fundraising events to support causes related to cancer and GLBT rights. I enjoy speaking to large crowds, and have had a blast addressing crowds numbering from 80 to 200,000. I look forward to doing a lot more of that.

In my sparse spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dog Jack and my friends, whether that means cooking out or hanging out.  One thing I've learned is the importance of family, and that members of one family don't always grow up under the same roof.  I try to spend as much time as I can with those I consider to be family.
