About Me I'm a passionate and instinctive guy. I want to meet new friends to go sailing, hiking, camping and road tripping with. I tend to be quiet initially and observing, but I warm up quickly. I have a geeky sense of humor that's off the wall at times. I love water sports and will get on/in the water whenever I have the chance. I just came back from a research cruised which ended in Bermuda...amazing beaches there! Last year I skippered a yacht in the BVI's for a couple friends, this year we went to St. Lucia and St. Vincent. I'm a good skipper, none of my crew has ever received more than 20 lashes. I love photography (flickr rocks!). My new interest is kung fu and I recently started taking lessons with Sifu Hill. He's a great teacher who doesn't teach just techniques and movements, but also the process of discovering who we are through our motion. I know my dragon...well sort of. My elements are Earth and Fire, grounded but intense. I'm very busy with school during the week. Between work, play and sleep, I pick work and play. I travel often for work and research. They send us to surprisingly nice locations like Key West and San Francisco. ;-) I hope to circumnavigate one day. I will always do what I want to do, do not try to convince me otherwise. If you try to change my mind by making me feel bad, I will avoid you.
