My name is Kim and I have been a very compassionate person since I can remember. I am very empathetic towards all who suffer, struggle, who are hungry, abused or homeless. I am also such a passionate animal lover and feel so broken inside for all the terrible things we are doing to one another in this world. I have felt a strong calling to get involved my entire life. My mom's sisters and brothers and friends always said I would become an advocate, vet or something to do with helping and caring for animals and people. I am so incredibly effected by these issues and receive many emails and posts from all over with articles that have broken my heart in such a way, I would latterly get hysterical and cry over them for a while. I have cried myself to sleep, I am an active advocate and find myself in tears while sharing, reading or posting to promote the help of others. Sometimes I will go onto a funny page that makes me laugh afterwards to lift my spirits; this gives me back the strength to push forward. Laughter is a great way to recover from just how depressing these things can be. I am currently doing work for a Big Cat rescue in Texas, I learned that after almost 100 cats were badly mistreated and died, three of the people who fought hard to seek justice were so broken, two actually took their lives! Most of my time is consumed in the effort to make a difference in any way I can. How can we do nothing? About Me	I have always been a child at heart and always will be. Love laughing and goofing around. Making my kids laugh is great! Im very well know by both my daughters friends as "crazy" and they all love it! I m very compassionate and always thinking of others. I really care about people, animals, children , ,everyone in this world. I have raised my kids to always be thoughtful, kind and the importance of thinking of others before yourself. Its very rewarding helping others and I strongly believe in treating everyone as you would have them treat you. I also just love animals! They are awesome and as I get older, I am finding I want to give more to those in need, like volunteer to help the homeless, the animals, the kids or the elderly. I think Its important to try to do something , anything to help all of those suffering all over the world. we all share this planet and we should all make more effort to fix all the bullshit! And so many of us don't realize that we are so incredibly blesses compared to the rest of the word. we have it all. we need to start sharing our blessings with others.

My Philosophy	The we should all see the world through the eyes of a child, imagine what a world that could be? Seeing all of these so called people being cruel to animals and one another, i thought to myself, would they do this in front of their children? do they ever stop and wonder how their little children would feel about them if they could see them torturing animals or doing cruel things and not even seeming to notice the pain and suffering they cause?
What Gives Me Hope	All of the people and great friends who are passionate like me that i've found while on this journey. Social networking GIVES THIS FIGHT A WHOLE BUNCH OF HOPE, things are being uncovering and spread around the world at a pace faster than the speed of light!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	I would realize that without the animals and the oil and without all the things they are so destroying at an alarming rate, the human race is doomed, so in order to save us I would be obligated to save all who are being treated this way. The animals, the plants, ocean, entire earth would flourish and survive great without the human race though. We need to treat life with more respect and I would realize that just because I am a person of power, this doesn't make me indestructable. building hideouts for the wealthy and powerful and getting rich and being greedy is completely useless should this destruction catch up with us. If the time comes when the end is here, no matter what power and wealth you have gained, should God decide it's the end, there will be nowhere to hide in this entire universe. I would realize that come judgement day when I am standing there trying to justify my life, I wouldn't want to try and explain myself being one of the leaders of this day and age!
What/who changed my life and why	I have always known this is my calling, or had always had a strong passion towards it and was always known for my love of animals and for my love for others and soft heart. I. was guilty for quite some time, though, of not grasping onto this calling because of the painful feelings of having to face them When faced with the opportunity to see something call Canada shame last year, I decided to read on and all though i knew the video that came along with this post was something i didnt want to see, i decided to click play one second. i heard the cries of the seals, i cried for three days. then i got angry and realized, i am Canadian, it's my responsibility to speak up if i want to change this. i also realized that even though facing the cruel things going on is hard and depressing, just how hard is it for those experiencing these things? who am i to even think of myself like that? too bad if its hard, really? hard? it hurts does it to sit in my warm home, comfortable, full and happy watching this sadness? TOO BAD! watch it , face it, dont face it, either way,IT IS HAPPENING AND TURNING THE OTHER CHEEK WONT STOP IT, speaking up will.
