About Me	I dropped in on this planet, September 2nd, 1962 and my life has not been the same since. Growing up in the industrial NW of England was fun, to a point. But when Maggie Thatcher spoiled the party, my parents decided to head off to the west coast of Canada to escape. So I have been living here in Vancouver since 1981, I've been educated, married and passed on my genetic markers to my offspring. In my life I have been a movie and tv extra, professional writer, poll researcher, pub doorman, chicken coop cleaner, professional pea picker, olympic athlete, track and field official and soccer coach. I now live in 2 BR apartment in an East Vancouver co-op. I ran unsuccesfully in the last two BC elections and I work at Simon Fraser University. You can call me a Green Party supporting, bike riding urban enviromentalist, who has a dislike for anything that decreases the quality of our environment.
