Wild Fact About Me

we feed out Rottweiler only organic people food- because his breed is especially prone to cancer. We both have had a Rotties that died from cancer at 4 and 1/2. Kody is will be 5 in April but he formed a large bump on his shoulder. The vet called it a fatty tumor but I am not convinced that that is acceptable.

My Philosophy

To have my pets thrive not just survive. My two iguanas have an entire converted bedroom that cost over $1000 to make and furnish and costs a fortune to keep heated, lit and humidified!

What Gives Me Hope

That there might be other people out there like me who see the real importance of every living thing on this earth.

Make people have to get a license or certification to have a pet. Not to charge money but to keep pets out of the hands of those who would treat them as objects. The city of Toronto, I have read, limits you to 6 pets. Not sure if this is good or bad but it is interesting.

What/who changed my life and why

Kevin Trudeau's natural cures. I know it is a somewhat simplistic book but it is what reminded me how bad chemicals actually are. That is when we started changing things and eating organic- even though we can't really financially afford it. In the long run though we will be so much better off.
