About Me	First and foremost an "Army Brat ", I married one also. ( You can tell we put ketchup on everything). I spent 27 years as an Artist in Education, speaking on the Native American way of life.( By the way you can call me Indian, if it was good enough for my Grandfather to be called that , it's good enough for me . Besides no one called us Native Americans until the 70's anyway). I taught Native history (mostly Apache), Traditional Dance, Art, Cravings ( soapstone, bone, wood ), Beadwork (loom and stitch all forms), Lecture/Demos.I was always best know for telling LEGENDS. I could give you the short version of a legend, or the real way (sometimes 1-3 hrs.). My husband Richard and I altho still fairly "young" do what we want. We like to say now we can do all the things we wanted to do as kids ,but couldn't. Richard is one hundred percent service-connected disabled. ( He can't use his hands or stand on his feet for very long). We like to tell people that we never grew up, we just learned how to act normal in public. One of the favorite pastimes of my family and friends is to bring me a totally useless piece of junk , just to see what I can make out of it. My personal saying is..."To E, or not to E, that is my question, because I can't spell".

Wild Fact About Me	I once sent a note up to then Vice President Dan Quayle asking him to please hurry up and finish speaking, he was going over his allotted time and myself and two other Native Americans had yet to speak. (Besides we had another program we had to do later on that day). That caused some panic amoung the other Artist, they though the Secret Service was going to take us in for questioning.
My Philosophy	I may grow older, but I refuse to growup.
What Gives Me Hope	People who remember things I taught them as a child, and then they ask me to teach their children.
