I've been divorced for almost 4 years and have two adult boys (21 & 18) both in college and my daughter is 9 years old. While I've dated since my divorce, my kids have been my primary focus and have kept me grounded day in and day out. I'm at a point in my life now that I'd like to find one fantastic guy to share life's adventures with.
I would describe myself as being all girl in the sense that I don't have a shred of tomboy in me. My favorite color is pink. I like to look nice and take care of myself but I'm not super high maintenance. I don't take 3 hours to get ready for anything. Give me an hour and I'm good to go hair to heels! I try to have fun and make the most out of every situation. I love to laugh and be silly but know when to be serious as well. I've been told often that I'm a very go-with-the-flow type of person and have a lot of patience. I'm a very good listener and communicate well. I try to not sweat the small stuff. I have a giving personality.
I enjoy a variety of things from cooking up a big meal, shopping with the girls, spending time with people I love, traveling & weekend getaways, reading, reality shows, beach, music, picnics, movies, going out to eat, and of course spending ample time with a special guy. What Gives Me Hope
The book "Women who love too much" has been my "bible" since randomly picking it up while looking for a book on how to deal with a friend of miine. Every word in the book describes me and as I stood there in the bookstore mouth dropping to the floor, I realized that after 41 years of feeling "different" and searching for answers, that I had finally stumbled on my answer...just like that.
