Please Help These Two Children
Hello all,

I am writing to ask for help for my fiance, Ron and his two children, Brandon age 11 and Chelsea age 12.  They have endured abuse and neglect at the hands of their mother and step father since 2001.

Ron had gained joint legal/joint physical custody with his address as the children's in 2003, due to abuse and neglect in his ex's home. Signed by Judge Jaynes in Moberly, Missouri.

During this court battle, Brandon was sexually abused in her home by her friend. We had told the mother the children did not like this man because he looked at them in a sexual way, she didn't care. We tried to tell DSS this and they did not care, in fact we were threatened by Janna Clark the director of the DSS office that if we pursued anything on this, we would go to jail and she would see to it.  After the sexual abuse took place, we found out Janna was the perpetrator's mother and also had a past history of this on other children, yet he is free walking the streets. Nothing was done about Brandon being sexually abused either, the man was not even questioned by police, however it was founded in Dec 03 by another DSS office that it did happen.

The children were still being taken around this man after it happened by their mother.  We tried to gain help from the court and were denied the paperwork to fill out for a protective order, something that everyone is entitled to.  Because Ron had primary custody of the children and the court knew we were going back to Iowa, we called an attorney and she said to move, as exigent circumstances existed.  We did this and Ron was arrested for kidnapping in Jan 04.  NO one cared that the children were being abused and taken around this sexual perpetrator.

DSS made it out to be that we were liars. They blame Ron that he is emotonally abusing the children for making the report on this, even though it was founded.

After we moved to Iowa and kids were put back with their mother, in March 04, they were removed from her for 3 days due to house conditions and no heat.  No notice given to their father.

Children were returned to her yet again.

April 04, there was a petition filed by the JO/DSS for permanent removal of the children from their mother for unsafe/unsanitary living conditions, neglect, educational neglect.  Issue was dropped when she moved to Adair County, MO.

Ron got to see his kids in June 04, the children told our neighbors of abuse in the home at their mother's, they brought the issue to us. We called Iowa DHS who investigated and contacted DSS in MO.  Again, DSS in MO lied and said there was a custody battle going on when there was not, children were returned and abused for telling on them. We were blamed for the marks on Brndon.  First they blamed Ron and when they found out he was at work, they blamed me. I fought it and won.

October 04, kids report more abuse and Ron was told to enroll them into school in Iowa per the custody order, he tried and kidnapping filed again on him. His ex said that he did not return them, when actually she did not come to get them.  Charges were beaten yet again.

Ron filed family access motion in May 05, went before Judge Lewis in Adair County, MO. Lewis said he did not read the file and was not going to read it, said women get all the work and fathers get all the weekend fun and glory. Dismissed it.

June 05, Chelsea has foot rot due to her mother's floors being so filthy, huge sores on her feet, untreated by her mother. DSS would not do anything.

July 05, children report step dad and mom took nude photos of one another on a camera cell phone and tricked Chelsea into looking at one of them and step dad forced Brandon to look at one of step dad nude on Brandon's bed by getting him into a head lock and prying his eyes open.  There was a forensic interview done and we have the tape. The children talk of a lot of abuse in their mother's home and they wanted to live with us.

Ron was told by DSS in Missouri and police he could not return the children to their mother. He kept them and was arrested for kidnapping again! Spent 34 days in jail, we lost our home, car, his schooling, the children who wer put into foster care in MO. Children told police about the abuse and yet nothing was done.

Ron beat the charge in Dec. 05.  Grand jury said he was innocent.

January 06 his son tried to commit suicide while inside of the Bruce Normile Center which is inside the JO.

Feb 21/06 the children were put back in the home of their mother by DSS without a court order even.

Ron has not seen them since. Every time he tries, she files false charges on him, he beats them when they find she lied and yet she is allowed to do this.

Kids are back in her home again and permanently.
