What Gives Me Hope
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by For Starters, I would attempt to create reservoirs to collect freshwater from glacial melt for future use and also to hopefully limit its impact on thermohaline circulation. I completely would end the use of coal, end the drilling for oil, educate people about overpopulation and the importance of biodiversity, ensure than any government or municipal building/car/bus was clean and green, ensure every city had a waste management strategy similar to San Francisco or Switzerland. I would also tax any person who chose to own a vehicle with a combustion engine with more than four cylinders.
