I have a hard time describing myself but I'll try. I'm think of myself as an honest and trustworthy person. If I say I'm going to do something, then I will give it my best effort. If I fail I'll tell you I tried. I am multifaceted. I like going out but not to crowded places. It depends on what mood I'm in. I like gardening and having animals around. I two roommates of the feline persuasion. I enjoy learning how things work. I am trying to be an artist. That is,my central focus right now is learning new techniques of artistic presentation.
While I don't think of myself as christian, development of a spiritual point of reference is also a central theam in my life. (I think that the Mobius Loop is the best representation of the universal spirit).
I think that everyday my life improves a little bit. 11 years ago I was a drug addict and an alcholic. I've been sober for most of those 11 years. I don't believe that AA is the only way to become sober. I think that above and far beyond any of the 12 steps of

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Take 1/2 of the Pentagons yearly budget pump it into the education system. This would bring it up to where it should be considering our economic position in the world. The other 1/2 would go into space exploration and scientific discovery and development, such as a car engine which runs on hydrogen. Providing for the future is what government should be about. As it stands today our country and our way of life will crumble within the next 50 years at the rate we're going.
What/who changed my life and why
When I began to think about this question I came to realize that it was the reading of the "Conan the Barbarian series by Robert E. Howard. Up until that time I had read VERY few books. Since that time I can't count how many I've read. Beyond that I have to say that getting sober has had the most positive effect on my life.
