I see from your profile that you're here to support a cause. Kudos to you & thanks for making a difference. Please visit my page & support my Petition to End All Illegal Human Research Programs In America. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
Jade, Thank you for the update. I did not realize all of this information. I have been extremely busy that past several months and just closed on my home today. Bare with me if i don't spend several hours online but i just don't have the time. Thank you again.
Kelli - I was of the same opinion (and stated it several places over the weekend!) until I continued researching. What changed my mind was reading about the efforts made by Pets Alive to step in and not having phone calls returned, physical healing time of the injuries suffered was SHORT - and any real mental rehabilitation had not been tried for any length of time, and then Nathan's article (who is spearheading NO KILL Shelters across the country and managed to turn San Francisco's shelter around after Sayres had run it into the ground and left, plus the attitude was about no kill when he was there). I ask you at read it and get the other side (as I did). I've worked for non-profit organizations - major decisions are made by the Board, not one individual. It's just my opinion and I could be wrong. LOL Jade
You have asked me to sign a petition regarding the resignation of of ASPCA's president Ed Sayre. It is my understanding he was only following what the HSUS suggested. I understand your grief, but if we asked for resignations from all presidents of organizations, we wouldn't have any organizations that cared. Please understand that i feel your pain regarding Oreo. I felt awful that they wouldn't allow another organization to take her on and train her, but sometimes God Hands out circumstances that are out of our control. I too wish that a better decision had been made but not one to ask resignation of a position that he has failed. I look at how many others lives have also been saved. God Bless You!!! Kelli
