Susan, here.  Talk about green.  This is a whole new experience for me and I am very uneducated when it comes to using the computer.  I e-mail a few people and I have been known to order on the computer, but that's it.  I wanted to start a new paragraph, but don't know how to do that.  I love to garden.  I live in a senior residence where I am the baby.  Out back I have a garden box that is 11 feet by 4 feet.  I consider my garden box as my little corner of the world.  I don't use any pesticides and use plant food rather than fertilizer.  I have no idea what kind of group that puts me into.
I raised 4 daughters and have 4 grandsons.  I have a good relationship with my oldest and my youngest.  The two in the middle are still on the fence or the other side of the fence.  I am a recovering alcoholic with 8 years of sobriety.  I attend AA on a fairly regular basis.
I'm single and plan to stay that way.  I am not looking for a mate, though I wouldn't mind a companion for doing things with.  I don't drive which means I use the city bus to get around. 
One of the ruling forces in my life is my diabetes.  I am insulin dependent, taking at least 4 shots a day.  I have had the disease for 30 years and have taken really good care of me.  So far I don't have any of the problems that come with the disease and I intend to keep it that way for as long as I can.
This is probably enough news to get me/you started.  I tend to be honest as in AA we do that.  If I tell you something, you can bet it is true or accurate unless I say otherwise.  Most sincerely, Susan
