As a philosophy  major, I have discovered the tremendous significance of political participation.  However, as a minor (seventeen years old), I have found few ways that I can contribute besides protesting - which I often deem ineffective.  I believe that the petition site can help me call attention to the many unheard voices that I represent including women, minorities, and especially minors.


ABOUT ME

I am a young, sophisticated, mature, goal-oriented individual.  I believe that education is extremely important, and it saved my life.  I had a rough childhood, but I learned a lot from my experiences.  I now live alone, proudly supporting myself, and I will soon move to Los Angeles to start college at UCLA.
