It is dark, and cold, so cold i feel it to my bones.

I am not alone, others are here too

Scream and cry all night

Scream and cry without a stop

To my left and to my right there are others

They look at me and I look back

Then the ones who the bring pain come

There bodies are brilliant white, but their eyes are darkly black

They scream at us, and they drag us out of our prisons

The kick and beat us, be we do not want to go

We know what fate awaits us

We know what terror there is in the bright room

We are put in water, we are burnt, we are stabbed,

We are scalded, we are ask why but no reply is forthcoming

We plead with them and they ignore

I ask myself, why am I here?

What tort have I committed?

What unspeakable crime deserves such punishment?

Fear between the punishments takes over us

Fear between the hell that awaits us drives us mad

I have asked myself was it something I did

Was there a reason why I was taken from my mother

Was it her fault, was it mine?

The ones in white and dark eyes hate me so

Is it because I have four legs and they have two?
