I'm not a preacher. I don't have a church. I don't even attend church! I'm just a mellow old Hippie with "Pastor" in front of my name. My mission is Peace, Love, Compassion and Forgiveness, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. If I can help you in any way, please contact me here at Care 2, or at jazzmantim@weirdness.com Brightest Blessings to you always!

Founded in Chicago in 1919, the Communist Party of the United States has an outstanding history in the struggles for peace, democratic rights, racial and gender equality, economic justice, union organization, and international solidarity. Our Party is organized on the principle of democratic centralism, combining maximum democratic discussion and decision-making with maximum unity of will and action, ensuring our ability to play a strong organizing role in the class struggle. We focus our efforts on increasing our ability to organize millions into struggle, fighting anti-communism as a divisive weapon of the capitalist class. With Marxism-Leninism guiding our actions, the Communist Party strives to build the broadest unity against global capitalist imperialism now headed by U.S. imperialism, for immediate gains and reforms that benefit working people, and for a progressive democratization of the government, the economy, and society of our country on the road to and after winning socialism.

********************************************** Woodstock by Joni Mitchell
I came upon a child of God He was walking along the road And I asked him where are you going And this he told me I'm going on down to Yasgur's farm I'm going to join in a rock 'n' roll band I'm going to camp out on the land I'm going to try an' get my soul free We are stardust We are golden And we've got to get ourselves Back to the garden Then can I walk beside you I have come here to lose the smog And I feel to be a cog in something turning Well maybe it is just the time of year Or maybe it's the time of man I don't know who I am But you know life is for learning We are stardust We are golden And we've got to get ourselves Back to the garden By the time we got to Woodstock We were half a million strong And everywhere there was song and celebration And I dreamed I saw the bombers Riding shotgun in the sky And they were turning into butterflies Above our nation We are stardust Billion year old carbon We are golden Caught in the devil's bargain And we've got to get ourselves back to the garden

"Songs From The Wood" by Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull:
At the moment, I'm a retired chef, and currently a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and an activist. I've always made up my life as I went along, and I have always gone against the grain. A misfit and very eclectic, by nature. I just roll with life as best I can, always living in the moment. When life knocks me down, I get back up again, and keep on going. An incurable romantic, a dreamer, still waters run very deep in me. I've had a fascinating life thus far, and I wouldn't change a thing!
I remember in 1968, when I was 6 years old, I wanted to be a
Hippie so I could protest the war.
Now, it's 2009, I'm 47, and I'm a Hippie protesting the war.
My Philosophy
"In the clearing stands a boxer,
and a fighter by his trade,
and he carries the reminders
of every glove that laid him down
or cut him 'til he cried out,
in his anger and his shame,
'I am leaving, I am leaving',
but the fighter still remains."
-Paul Simon
I am the fighter, and no matter how many times I get beaten up and beaten down, I always manage to find something inside that lets me get back up, dust myself off, and get right back into life, and living, and everything it has to give.
"Courage does not always roar.
Sometimes it is the quiet voice
at the end of the day saying,
'I will try again tomorrow'."
-Unknown

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
If I were President, I'd legalise Marijuana, immediately! (Do it for me, Barack!) I'd first give it to those who need it medically, to ease the suffering of the sick and dying.
Stoners and Hippies, we'll be legal, too, but we have to help the sick folks first!
I would also make the punishment for ANY act of abuse or violence against an animal only slightly less severe than that for the same acts against a person. The punishment for animal abuse should be SO severe, swift and sure that no one would even THINK about harming an animal!
What/who changed my life and why
Jillyanne Michelle Cape, my life-partner, for more reasons than I could ever list. or be willing to reveal.
For Jill:
"Suddenly I turned around,
and she was standing there,
with silver bracelets on her wrists,
and flowers in her hair.
She walked up to me so gracefully,
and took my crown of thorns.
"Come in", she said,
"I'll give you shelter from the storm."
-Bob Dylan
Shelter from the Storm
"I believe that there will ultimately
be a clash between the oppressed and
those who do the oppressing. I believe
that there will be a clash between those
who want freedom, justice and equality
for everyone and those who want to
continue the system of exploitation.
I believe that there will be that kind
of clash, but I don't think it will be
based on the color of the skin."
-Malcolm X
"Never be afraid to do what's right,
especially if the well-being of a
person or an animal is at stake.
Society's punishments are small
compared to the wounds we inflict
on our souls when we look the other
way."
-Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
"I believe that banking institutions
are more dangerous to our liberties
than standing armies. If the American
people ever allow private banks to
control the issuance of their
currency, first by inflation,
then by deflation, the banks and
corporations that will grow up
around {the banks} will deprive
the people of all property until
their children wake-up homeless
on the continent their fathers
conquered. The issuing power should
be taken from the banks and returned
to the people, to whom it properly
belongs."
-Thomas Jefferson, 1802
"Government is not reason, it is not eloquence. It is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." -George Washington
"Where the Government fears the people, there is liberty. Where the people fear the Government, there is tyranny." -Tho.Jefferson
"A patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his Goverment." -Edward Abbey
"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb discussing what to have for lunch. Liberty is the same discussion with a heavily-armed lamb."
-Benjamin Franklin
"If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice."- Neil Peart ("Freewill" by Rush)
"Many of my happiest days I've spent here at Monticello, on the back veranda, smoking hemp, and looking out as far as the eye can see." -Tho.Jefferson(written in his last days)
"A righteous man regardeth the life
of his beast."
-Proverbs 12:10

"If you keep waiting for tomorrow,
one day you'll find that all you've

"When we are born, we are crying
and others are laughing.

you die, you are laughing,
and others are crying."

"Most people would rather die than
think....in fact, most do so."

"What good fortune for governments
that people do not think."
-Adolf Hitler

a thing wrong gives it a superficial
appearance of being right."

THANKS FOR HAVING SIGNED THE PETITION. I HAVE A PERSONAL FRIEND WHO LIVES NOT FAR FROM ME THAT WAS FORCED TO GO TO ONE OF THESE SCHOOLS. SHE WAS 8 YEARS OLD AND SO WAS HER FRIEND. HER LITTLE FRIEND LAY IN A BED ALL NIGHT SICK WITH NO HELP GIVEN BY THE ADULTS. ALL MY FRIEND COULD DO WAS HOLD HER HAND AND SING SOFTLY TO HER IN THEIR INDIAN WORDS. IN THE MORNING SHE WATCHED AS HER FRIEND WAS TAKEN OUTSIDE IN THE BLANKET THAT HAD COVERED HER AND PUT INTO AN UNMARKED GRAVE WITH NO CEREMONY. MY FRIEND HAS THIS FOR A CHILDHOOD SCHOOL MEMORY!! NO CHILD SHOULD DIE LIKE THAT BUT SHE WAS INDIAN SO SHE DID. MY FRIEND IS ALIVE TODAY WHO ENDURES THIS MEMORY, SO MANY THINK IT IS ANCIENT HISTORY.
