This is a pic of Paraparaumu iBeach at sunset and Kapiti Island in the background which is a Bird Sanctuary on the Kapiti Coast people can go out to the island for day trips and check out the birds and we have a yearly swim from Paraparaumu Beach to Kapiti Island - it is quite an event - the next beach along from Paraparaumu - where I live is Raumati South you may have seen the beach on profile page billbrd but any beach you go to along the Kapiti Coast - Kapiti Island is visible.
