About Me I am the mother of a little girl who recieved a heart transplant at the age of 2 years old due to an aquired disease, Dilated Cardiomyopathy. This is a very under researched and under funded disease and I would like to see this change. I would also like to see something done about the state of our health insurance in our country. The fact that my daughter has a "pre-existing condition" from the age of 2 sickens me. I also am a huge advocate of organ donation. I am currently trying to learn all I can about making my world a greener place!
