God has given us so many things of beauty. Why not the mechanism to evolve?
To insure the survival of life on this Planet?
In the Universe?
Infinite Population growth...finite earth...disaster...
Subterranean iron mountains
Inverted by the viscous black sea.
Mountain tops awash in acid...
Brick red crystalline skeletons
Thrust bent and broken fingers
Into the hot gaseous greenhouse.
Brown muck oozing into the heavy
Dioxide of carbon carried to sterile acid sea.
“I have a "right"”, echoes the Virtue...
“Gimme, gimme, gimme”, the status quo.

With Some to use the scraps, the detritus of living, convert it back to the soil to be reused. Threads of hyphae exuding enzymes digesting the "bones" for mother mycelia to raise her fruits of labor.
Celebrate the birth of Christ and joy in the Lord's blessings.
Such magnificence should be places of solitude and contemplation
for all. Not be objects to owned by the money changers, who would pander the wilderness for greed, avishing their keep with troweled on rouge. Myopic to the simple beauty around them.
Manatees (Class: Mammalia, Order: Sirenia Family: Trichechidae, Genus Trichechus) (sea cows) (West Indian Manatee)
The name manatí comes from the Taino, a pre-Columbian people of the Caribbean, meaning "breast". Such an unpretentious animal living in Eden.
Two Thousand or so years old, quick let's cut it down and build a deck...What are they thinking!
"There is always music amongst the trees in the garden, but our hearts must be very quiet to hear it."
- Minnie Aumonier, writer.
If we listen close enough we can hear the breathing in of CO2 and the expiration of O2 into the atmosphere. The moist breath of transpiration that draws life giving moisture from the tiny fragile rootlets that beat their way through the tough soils to reach the nutrients to the magnificent canopy of leaves that manufacture the sugars from the light of the sun. What more of a miracle do you need to believe???
It's unfortunate that stewardship has been interpreted by many as the accumulation of property and wealth. Jesus was using Talents to express a parable about taking care of and building on what we are given. That must include people and the world we live in. The rich will find in hard to get into heaven. The more true definition of Stewardship might be a person using every talent and repeatedly sacrificing their own desires in order to do the right thing.
How seemingly pastoral, yet cropped out of the picture are flotsam and jetsam, detritus from the large marina just to the left of the picture and a long ugly breakwater that juts a hundred yards out into the lake.
From the jungles of my Garden in Iowa.
A bee on December Lavender (English) taken on a very hazy day. Over my shoulder you can just make out Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. How glad I am for the haze which turned my head to the flower garden instead!
