About Me

Through spiritual activism, I am working on raising the consciousness of those in a position of power, by educating them to things that they may not be aware of and stimulating their conscience. I also like to empower the general public with knowledge, and contact information. I am very involved in anti-nuclear activism (both as it applies to the general public and indigenous people). I am supportive of various indigenous issues, religious tolerance/ religious unity issues, and efforts to reform Prisons and change the Drug War so that it is respectful of human rights and religious liberties. I try to eat as close to 100% organic as possible. I am studying herbal medicine. I have a network of activists with whom i communicate with if a very critical issue arises. I believe, as activists, that we need to stay positive, have hope, and focus on reaching out & educating people. I do not believe in "polarizing" issues (ie: creating "sides"), or wasting energy blaming a group of people for a problem ... I would rather try to put that energy into enlightening people.

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by

Transform the prisons into ashrams and counseling centers - with meditation, deep counseling, art, and gardening opportunities. Transform the our military into a true force for peace, such as the Peace Corps ... with anger-management, emotional counseling, and cultural awareness classes for soldiers.
