About Me I'm moody in a good way... I'll never cease to entertain. I don't do drugs, I drink the occasional glass of wine, I like cigars. I would describe myself as, intellectual, dry sense of humour, cynical, witty, thoughtful, optimistic, encouraging, supportive, and goofy.
Be forewarned, I do have a dark side... I like dark/macabre art (of any and all kinds). My favorite colours are black, purple, and grey. I love tattoos and I have a few.
I also don't have sympathy for those that deliberately choose something that can hurt them, and then cry "Why me?!", later, arg!
I would consider myself a rational optimist. A very thoughtful Atheist. I will never bully or tease someone into thinking that my way is law.

Wild Fact About Me I am an MMA fan!
My Philosophy "I Love My Dog"

I love my dog as much as I love you
But you may fade, my dog will always come through.

All he asks from me is the food to give him strength
All he ever needs is love and that he knows he'll get

So, I love my dog as much as I love you
But you may fade, my dog will always come through.

All the pay I need comes shining through his eyes
I don't need no cold water to make me realize that

I love my dog as much as I love you
But you may fade, my dog will always come through.

Na, na, na, na, na, na, nana...

I love my dog as much as I love you
But you may fade, my dog will always come through.

Na, na, na, na, na, na, nana...

I love my dog, Baby, I love my dog. Na, na, na...
I love my dog, Baby, I love my dog. Na, na, na...

What Gives Me Hope My ability to find, weigh, and get the solution from information.
Anyone who acts on the facts!!!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Parenting classes to all parents that don't have a high school diploma, and parents that obtained a GED. (PARENTING??!?!! - that's crazy talk!)
Employ more teachers in our school systems and give them a raise, and bonuses for individual child grade improvements.
What/who changed my life and why These memories do not pass away...

My mother.
She taught me the worlds BEYOND creativity! She wrote, painted, did sculpting using many, many, types of media, she is a seamstress, and she took me to wild and interesting lands with her storytelling. She also could cut a real good rug to some Cat Stevens with me when I was little!
Thank you mom, I love you!

My father.
I didn't realize it at the time, but he taught me very deep lessons, about philosophy, music (he was a base player/song writer), psychology, and sociology, at a very young age (I was about 2 yrs old), that made college easier, and I still use every bit of it today.
Thanks Dad, I love you!

"You And Me"

There's a leafless tree in Asia
Under the sun there's a homeless man
There's a forest fire in the valley
Where the story all began

What will be our last thought?
Do you think it's coming soon?
Will it be a comfort
Or the pain of a burning wound?

All we are trying to say
Is we are all we've got
You and me just cannot fail
If we never, never stop

You're an ocean full of faces
And you know that we believe
We're just a wave that drifts around you
Singing all our hopes and dreams
We look around in wonder
At the work that has been done
By the visions of our father
Touched by his loving son

All we are trying to say
Is we are all we've got
You and me just cannot fail
If we never, never stop
All we are trying to say
Is we are all we've got
You and me just cannot fail
If we never, never stop
You and me just cannot fail
If we never, ever, never, ever stop...

~The Moody Blues

"Question"

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door?
With a thousand million questions
About hate and death and war.

It's where we stop and look around us
There is nothing that we need.
In a world of persecution
That is burning in it's greed.

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door?
Because the truth is hard to swallow
That's what the wall of love is for.

It's not the way that you say it
When you do those things to me.
It's more the way that you mean it
When you tell me what will be.

And when you stop and think about it
You won't believe it's true.
That all the love you've been giving
Has all been meant for you.

I'm looking for someone to change my life.
I'm looking for a miracle in my life.
And if you could see what it's done to me
To lose the the love I knew
Could safely lead me through.

Between the silence of the mountains
And the crashing of the sea
There lies a land I once lived in
And she's waiting there for me.

But in the grey of the morning
My mind becomes confused
Between the dead and the sleeping
And the road that I must choose.

I'm looking for someone to change my life.
I'm looking for a miracle in my life.
And if you could see what it's done to me
To lose the the love I knew
Could safely lead me to
The land that I once knew.
To learn as we grow old
The secrets of our souls.

It's not the way that you say it
When you do those things to me.
It's more the way you really mean it
When you tell me what will be.

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door?
With a thousand million questions
About hate and death and war.

It's where we stop and look around us
There is nothing that we need.
In a world of persecution
That is burning in it's greed.

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door?

"After You Came"

Since it began I've got one dream and really It's my only blessing
If I can come through then so can you
And you will find there's no regretting
Things that you want from your life's font
Will never let your spirit grow
Come back to earth for what it's worth
For you've been dreaming of the ceiling not a home

I've been doing my best
What else can I do?
Is there something I missed
That will help me through

I've reached the top of my wall
I've found another way to fall

For some short time
For a while you and I were joined to eternity
Then we're split in two back to me and you
Like the rain rising from the sea
Rising from the sea

We all can see what we shall be
But knowing's really not controlling

With time perhaps I'll pass the traps and find some peace and understanding
After you've come and while you're gone
You leave me guessing - It's depressing
Never to know the way to go to find some time along a little less pressing
So you just have to laugh
When it hurts so much
You're so far away and so hard to touch

I've reached the top of my wall
I've found another way to fall

Since it began I've got one dream and really It's my only blessing
If I can come through then so can you
And you will find there's no regretting
Things that you want from your life's font
Will never let your spirit grow
Come back to earth for what it's worth
For you've been dreaming of the ceiling not a home

I've been doing my best
What else can I do?
Is there something I missed
That will help me through

I've reached the top of my wall
I've found another way to fall

"Trouble"

Trouble
Oh trouble set me free
I have seen your face
And it's too much too much for me

Trouble
Oh trouble can't you see
You're eating my heart away
And there's nothing much left of me

I've drunk your wine
You have made your world mine
So won't you be fair
So won't you be fair

I don't want no more of you
So won't you be kind to me
Just let me go where
I'll have to go there

Trouble
Oh trouble move away
I have seen your face
and it's too much for me today

Trouble
Oh trouble can't you see
You have made me a wreck
Now won't you leave me in my misery

I've seen your eyes
and I can see death's disguise
Hangin' on me
Hangin' on me

I'm beat, I'm torn
Shattered and tossed and worn
Too shocking to see
Too shocking to see

Trouble
Oh trouble move from me
I have paid my debt
Now won't you leave me in my misery

Trouble
Oh trouble please be kind
I don't want no fight
And I haven't got a lot of time

An Atheist believes that a hospital should be built instead of a church. An atheist believes that deed must be done instead of prayer said. An atheist strives for involvement in life and not escape into death. He wants disease conquered, poverty vanished, war eliminated.
~Madalyn Murray O'Hair

I'm an atheist and I thank God for it.

When I told the people of Northern Ireland that I was an atheist, a woman in the audience stood up and said, 'Yes, but is it the God of the Catholics or the God of the Protestants in whom you don't believe?

I have recently been examining all the known superstitions of the world, and do not find in our particular superstition (Christianity) one redeeming feature. They are all alike founded on fables and mythology.
~Thomas Jefferson

The philosopher has never killed any priests, whereas the priest has killed a great many philosophers.
~Denis Diderot

Religion is based ... mainly upon fear ... fear of the mysterious, fear of defeat, fear of death. Fear is the parent of cruelty, and therefore it is no wonder if cruelty and religion have gone hand in hand . . . . My own view on religion is that of Lucretius. I regard it as a disease born of fear and as a source of untold misery to the human race.
~Bertrand Russell
