I'm a very friendly person, but I don't make friends easily, mostly because I don't know anyone here. I'm interested in EVERYTHING, so much so that some wise-akers have taken to calling me Curious George (which, by the way, is NOT a good idea). I love music, and am a member of a wonderful choir here in Aberdeen, BUT that does NOT mean that all I enjoy is choral music. I like a little bit of everything, from heavy metal to choral pieces, from Emo to Country, from Novelty songs to the Classics. I like it all, the only exceptions being Jazz and Blues, which I hate with a passion.
      As I am still a student, I spend a LOT of time studying, but that doesn't mean I don't know how to have fun. I enjoy reading, hiking, picking on my little brother, and a general assortment of odds-&-ends activities such as rock painting and doing other crafty sorts of stuff. I'm also in the process of learning ASL, which I'm thoroughly enjoying.
      I'm here because I want to save the world, corny as that may sound. I am VERY ecologically minded, but living where I live, in the middle of nowhere in a huge logging district, connecting online is my only chance to help. And if you live within 25 miles of Aberdeen, you know this to be true.
