Help bring these two beautiful animals to their new home for the holidays!
his is a former PMU mare! And she(Squisher) and her team mate(Squash) are in need of help again. We need to get them both to Maine. Please email and pass the word to all your friends about the Pocono Equestrian Center. Please help this Rescue, they not only help horses but they help children with disabilities also. Two great causes in one!!! But they are losing a lot of their sponsership with the terrible economy. I am trying to adopt these two beautiful Clydesdale ex-PMU mares Squish and Squash are their nicknames, and are papered Clydes. You can see their video on their website at http://www.poconoequestrian.org/press.htm I have the room, and the food and hay. Getting them to Maine from Pennsylvania is now the biggest problem. We have someone that will haul them for $600.00 but with the economy even that is a lot. If you can help please email me or Beverly and let us know. We appreciate all you can do! warhorsepines@aol.com

Also, With all of our Arabian Friends. I am hopeful you will see it in your heart to help these Arabians. One has Arbil, Muscat lines the other I have to look into. Either way we just couldn't let them go to slaughter. Our friends at Arabian Rescue Mission were kind enough to Quarantine them for us. Please donate funds so our volunteers can get them everything they need. http://poconoequestrian.cmarket.com or donate on our site http://www.poconoequestrian.org/donate We are Registered with the PA State bureau of charities FEIN 56-2311715
We also need medical supplies for the new arrivals. They need some TLC. The one arab is in bad shape and the Gelding is in better shape but needs some help. In order for us to do that we need your help.... $10 , $20 or bid on an item that you might like in the auction http://poconoequestrian.cmarket.com Spread the word it ends Dec. 13

I would love to live my life pretty much self-sufficient, and we are working towards that goal. I love heritage and history and the hard but, simple way of living that went with it. I am working on learning how early homesteaders lived and supported themselves. My life revolves around Ron, my kids, my horses, my books and our new homestead in Maine.
My fondest desire would be to live like the mountain people.
