What Gives Me Hope
organizations such as this one, the 60s generation that still hasn't forgotten Southern discrimination and Vietnam.
Political Activism today. GLBT getting onto the ballot in states where "gay" is still a word from a '40s" musical.
The ongoing fight to take the congress away from the Republicans and conservatism and hope that a strong Democrat will emerge who endorses stem-cell research, health insurance parity for all, immediate withdrawal from Iraq, Gay marriage, and the recognition of orphan diseases and just as important as solving the mysteries of more commond illnesses.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
open a legalized red light district...puts some of scum out of business, and let's the rightist scum eat crow!
