AHO!!!!

My breath  is caught, footsteps in the brush....

Hot breath to my ears my face....

Circles around me, slow....Power..

The air is heated, ripples of the old ones....

My knees are weakened, as he comes....

I strain to see.

Tree stills, no leaves bend in the wind

it has now died down...

Silence looms a thickened wall....

Rolling without a sound....

Eyes caught in different worlds, now once again, another..

Holds many ages, through space in time....

Sister to sister, brother to brother...

It circles me and then I see,

Him change before my eyes...

He's here he's gone and come again...

Wonderous surprise....

Drums so loud, a deafening sound....

So silent amongst the trees..

Drums and songs beating fast,

Throughout the centuries...

Fallen to my knees I see,

Him standing there, his eyes on me...

All the wonderment I see the days,

The Old Ones there, held in his gaze....

Brothers cry, brothers dance...

He holds me here in this trance,

As he tells me of His clan....

So  humbled by his presence, near....

Power consumes me, fills the air....

Secrets, ancient they're not to speak....

Shadows dancing just out of reach....

Fires hot, waters cold....

History abounds untold...

I am taken aback....

and humbled.
