Wild Fact About Me
My Philosophy Factory farming destroys the life and livelihood of those who live around them, downstream of them, or breathe the same air. They affect all of us through air and water pollution. They make it impossible for small, more humane farms to survive.
Reducing or eliminating the demand for meat is crucial.
What Gives Me Hope I don't really have any "hope," per say. Hope for what? That things will get better? That more people will care? More people will care but there will be infinitely more people who do not care, and they are born every day. I don't have hope for anyone else. I live for me and in a way that I can feel okay about. I do what I know is right, and spread the word when it's relevant in hopes of getting others on board.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by I'm sure I don't know.
What/who changed my life and why The book, "Eating Animals", by Jonathan Safran Foer made me resolve to go from Pescetarian to Vegan. Since reading this book I have eaten only vegan foods.

It's a very beautiful book and I recommend it to everyone.
As a lifelong on-again off-again vegetarian, when J.S.F. learns that he is going to be a father, he realizes that it is time to commit one way or the other. JSF goes on a journey of discovery to find out what it means to eat meat; and should he raise his child as a vegetarian?

He examines the moral, social, and environmental aspects of eating meat - in gorgeous JSF style.
