As the founder of the Northwest Florida Environmental Conservancy, I am extremely dedicated to natural history and would like to provide a bit of my personal background. I’ve been seriously involved in the fields of ecology, herpetology, conservation and environmental education since 1982. My Philosophy	Trying very hard to make the world a better place in my life! Hoping the human race will wakeup and see what they're doing to the earth and themselves too.
What Gives Me Hope
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	I think most professional sports & the fanatics & insane amount of money & resources that goes into them are crazy! Especially when we have starving people, homeless people, sick people & so many other problems in the world. I think NASCAR and auto racing are incredibly ignorant especially now with the price of fuel! Just think of how much money is wasted on one single race (i.e., price of admission, concessions, the higher price of racing fuel, racing fans paraphernalia, etc); now multiple this ridiculous waste by how many races there are worldwide annually. It's also sad to see how so many people worship racing drivers & have shrines to ones who die racing! You sit for hours watching cars go round & round in circles at extremely high speeds, & then are sad when a driver dies doing something so totally wasteful and dangerous. If only people could show such enthusiasm & spend such huge amounts of money on issues & problems in the world that are really needed.
