I am a mother of three beautiful children, am a grandma of 1, with 1 on the way! ;o)
I have two sons who are out of school and are stepping out on their own, beginning thier own lives and families. My youngest son, Tim and his fiance, Jess have blessed me with a gorgeous grandson this past fall. Matthew entered this world 3 days before my birthday, in October 2006. My oldest son Justin and his girlfriend Amanda, have recently informed me that I'm going to be a grandma again sometime in late november! YEAH!!!
My adorable daughter, who will NOT be blessing me with any children, ANY TIME SOON, will be starting High School in the fall. :o) I keep trying to prevent her from growing up; even going so far as to GROUD HER, but she just won't stop growing!!! (LOL)
She's keeping me busy right now with Band, Jazz Band, Chorus & Color Guard.
But I must say that, not only are my children the center of my world, I am so very fortunate to say that they are also among my best friends!
Unfortunately, my children lost their father in an a motor vehicle accident on the 4th of July, 2000. So it's only me, now, but my family does their best to fill any empty spots in their lives!
I have a large, loving and loyal family, who are the kind of family who would be there for any one of us in the dead of night. All it took was a call. (Even if they had just had a huge fight the night before!!!)
I was raised on a farm (a working dairy farm for the first 7 or 8 yrs of my life), and had the fortune to grow up with four older brothers (my oldest brother is 3 & 1/2 years older than me, then the twins are 2 years older than me, and then the youngest brother is a year older than me. MY POOR MOM!!! lol)
We still did hay in the summer for many years after we sold off the stock, and the haymow was our favorite 'play-ground'. We played barn-ball (basketball without the rules!), baseball, football (flag, two hand touch AND contact!), and in the winter we'd play hockey on the pond we had right next to our house.
I guess you could say we knew how to keep ourselves occupied back then! lol
I used to eat flies to gross out guys that wouldn't leave me alone. Does that constitute WILD??? ;O)

My Grandma Wightman. Because she was a "COOL" Grandma, and she was a witty, smart and loving woman who was not only the greatest Grandma that ever lived, but she was my best friend!
