What is this faithful process of spirit, like seed that touches empty ground and makes it rich again? Its greater workings I cannot claim to understand. I only know that in its care, what has seemed dead is dead no longer, what has seemed lost, is no longer lost, and that which some have claimed impossible, is made clearly possible. What ground is fallow is only resting ... waiting for the blessed seed to arrive on the wind with all Godspeed. And it will.

In the Celtic tradition there is a beautiful understanding of love and friendship; the old Gaelic translation for this is "Anam Cara" or soul-love. This art of belonging awakened and fostered a deep and abiding companionship that no interval of time or space could sever. The Celtic understanding did not set limitations of space or time on the soul; there is no cage for the soul. The Soul is a Divine Light that flows into you and into your Other. Anam Cara is an act of recognition and belonging allowing each to share the innermost Self. It is a recognized and admired social construct, altering the meaning of identity and perception; its' Grace permits us to enter this unity of ancient belonging.
