FOR SIGNING THE PETITION AND PLACING IT ON FACEBOOK. ONE OF MY PERSONAL FRIENDS WHO LIVES NOT FAR FROM ME WAS FORCED TO GO TO ONE OF THOSE SCHOOLS. SHE WAS 8 YEARS OLD AND HELD HER FRIENDS HAND WHO WAS ALSO 8 AND SANG TO HER ALL NIGHT AS SHE LAY SICK. NO ADULT AT THE BOARDING SCHOOL FOR INDIANS GAVE THIS CHILD HELP. IN THE MORNING MY FRIEND WATCHED AS THE CHILD WAS REMOVED FROM THE BED WRAPPED IN THE BLANKET THAT HAD COVERED HER AND BURIED IN AN UNMARKED GRAVE OUTSIDE WITH NO CEREMONY. THIS IS HER MEMORY OF THESE SCHOOLS, SHE IS ALIVE TODAY, THIS ISN'T ANCIENT HISTORY. I CAN'T BELIEVE 10,000 CAN NOT BE GIVEN FOR AT LEAST AN APOLOGY. THESE PEOPLE WHO SUFFERED STILL WALK AMONG US!
