9/3-Mon-Labor Day-Eventhough I've never really experienced labor pains, I certainly ended-up with some nasty stretch marks....on my wallet!!!

9/1-Sat-Beware the grinning gator....even if his name is Cuddles! I learned that one the hard way.

8/26-Sun-Well I didn't win the lotto, but I did invent a low cost jaccuzzi by throwing farting ducks into my bath tub! Feeding them beans is the expensive part.

8/25-Sat-The lottery is up to $35 million dollars....that would just about payoff my credit cards. You wouldn't believe my interest rate!

8/1-Wed-Only the living see death. The dead just keep on living....

7/14-Sat-Family members came in to visit with us--had a very good time all this week while they were here.

7/2/07-Mon-Having another round of chemo with a new to us Doctor in the Clearwater area-after 3 years, I can no longer afford to run to St Pete everyday for treatments, tests, and labs.

4/26-Thu-Why is it that you can sell a kidney online and get $50,000 for it, but I've got kids with two perfectly good kidneys each, and I can't even give them away! Is there no justice in life???

4/24-Tue-Kendrick's 10th Birthday was a Hawaiian Luau themed party. All of us had loads of fun!

4/13-Fri-Saw the oncologist in St Pete and had a port flush. Looks like I will have to learn to live with all this pain. I can hardly use my right arm at all. I'll keep praying for a pain free future!

3/26 to 4/2-Kids on springbreak. Took them to beach, parks, playgrounds, nature preserve and the trail.

2/10-Sat-A beautiful day for a bike ride!

About Me	I quit owning cars 6/95 and took to riding my bicycle instead. The bicycle helped me to stop smoking and save money at the same time. Most people seem to remember me because of the bicycle, but it really isn't the main focus of my life! A clean, healthy, fun and friendly community is! For many years, I volunteered with the Pinellas Trail bicycle patrol. I also donate and support through online activism many other bicycle related organizations. In January of 2004, I was interviewed by a local TV station on safe cycling at night with lights. I've also given away bike lights, locks, water bottles, ice packs, bandages, maps, and bad directions (well I am a male after all!) I help promote proper cycling for people of all ages and abilities whether they are sharing the road, trail, or bike lane. Additionally, I often contact local businesses to remind them of the importance of having a bike rack for cyclists to use. Ironically, my favorite radio show is Car Talk on NPR (www.cartalk.com). Naturally, my favorite TV show is Off Beat Cinema (www.offbeatcinema.com) But, my nightly news comes directly from Democracy Now (www.democracynow.org) hosted by Amy Goodman. In addition to cycling, I am really into renewable energy like solar, wind, bio-diesel, etc., in combination with new energy efficient technologies like LED lights. In our household, we buy locally, use environmentally friendly and cruelty free products, eat organic foods, and we have reduced our consumption, reuse products as much as possible, and recycle.
