Hummingbirds can't walk, but they can fly. Women can't be recognized and valued for their intrinsic worth in our culture, but they are revered everywhere as the bearers of life.
What do you dis-value in your life that deserves better?
When you wear cloth pads, when you bleed responsibly, you are role modeling a powerful message to the women around you. You are saying 'I have opted out of being coopted by a way of living that doesn't support me." It's saying 'I love me enough to take my own steps to balance that includes environmental and personal sustainability.
Women wearing disposable products are complicit in their own imprisonment, the imprisonment of self disgust around a time that is sacred and should be revered.
Set yourself free and feel the balance return. THIS is how you attain roots AND wings as a woman.
I recently cut all my dyed and bleached and carefully coifed hair off and now no longer fight the battle of the roots. My head is now almost completely covered in silver. How wonderful!
Love globally, love locally. Change your pad.
What Gives Me Hope
That miracles occur in my life every day. When I live a life that is generous with my own equity, that generosity reverberates throughout the lives of everyone it touches and brings it back to me in the form of miracles.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
I would legalize prostitution and return sexuality to the spiritual place it belongs.
May the Universe & Your-self contrive good health, your needs be met & some wishes as well. Love Sunshine
New Year's eve is like every other night; there is no pause in the march of the universe, no breathless moment of silence among created things that the passage of another twelve months may be noted; and yet no man has quite the same thoughts this evening that come with the coming of darkness on other nights. ~Hamilton Wright Mabie
