This is the web page for Medecins Sans Frontiers (Doctors Without Borders).  This is about the most clear-cut we-help-everybody charity in the world.  I give them money.  You should give them money too.

Song Lyrics:
"Maybe they had a ridiculous statement to make about something they hadn't experienced possibly Sam had a different opinion that nobody'd ever considered important and damn it if Norman and Betty were listening somebody would have become a phenomenal howling lightning tampering with the electrical evidence shown to be relevant possibly with the exception of ivory everyone else had abandoned the obvious chipping away at erroneous garbage which definitely is as exciting as pudding deliciously spooned from the lap of the ludicrous into the mouths of the question less idiots licking their lips as their eyeballs are rolling and flapping their tongues as they're losing their marbles

That's the way Sams play around
That's the way Sams play

Someone who wasn't related to anyone twisted the facts till the truth was apparent and dished up a dollop of dubious doo-doo that sparkled like something folks scrambled to swallow slipping the rich through the eye of a needle is easy as getting a camel to heaven and granny transgressing had blubbered a bibful of classified info on Milton’s imbroglio

That's the way Sams play around
That's the way Sams play

That's the way Sams play around
That's the way Sams play
That's the way Sams play around
That's the way Sams play

Maybe they had a ridiculous statement to make about something they hadn't experienced possibly Sam had a different opinion that nobody'd ever considered important and maybe they had a ridiculous statement to make about something they hadn't experienced possibly Sam had a different opinion that nobody'd ever considered important"

    I wore a crown

    A crown of ice

    It made me feel

    Feel so good

    That I wore it twice

    I sat on a throne

    A strong throne of fire

    It started to sink

    And it brought me down

    Deep down into the mire

    I stood in a cave

    A cave dark as coal

    And there stood a man

With a torch in his hands

    Who told me his goal

    Have you seen my crown?

It is blue and its cold

The light will shine through it

    And most certainly

I begin to wonder. We have spent so much time demanding that we all worship the same god.  Maybe it is time that we started acknowledging the differences in the manner in which different people from place to place worship as like the worship of different gods as they did in classical times.  Maybe this would lead to greater respect for differences of opinion and diversity of behaviour.

    Rome and America

The thing to remember is that when the Roman empire was finally destroyed by "barbarian" hordes, that was a good thing.

A culture can be judged primarily by it's treatment of the least of its members.  Women, in particular, were more respected by the "barbarians" than by the Romans.  Hail Boudica!

And here's another one that gets me.  "Gun Owners" are allowed to vote as a block in order to protect their general rights as such.  They are voting for a principle; whoever will in general protect their interests and not necessarily particular candidates.  But the "Mentally Ill" can be prevented from voting for those who are going to protecte their interests, e.g. candidates who will vote for more money for medical research to help the mentally ill.

And I wonder how long it's going to be before they declare me "mentally ill" because I have the wrong taste in music.

Just wanted to say a prayer for the current issues in Palestine.  But then I thought:  "To which God should I pray?".  Praying to Allah, the god of the Muslims who are having the brother-on-brother trouble would be hypocritical because I was not raised in that teaching.  Praying to the god of the Christians would be too easy, too selfish.  Prayers to the god of Hebrews would not be accepted by the intended benificiaries.  Finally decided we should resurrect the old gods and pray to Zeus-Amon.
